Position Summary:
Plantensive is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Supply Chain Delivery to lead and manage client engagements focused on supply chain execution, delivery operations, and strategy. As a senior leader within our consulting practice, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex supply chain projects, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the growth and development of our supply chain consulting offerings.
This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and requires deep expertise in supply chain operations, and cross-functional project management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment and bring a client-first, results-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of supply chain transformation and optimization projects for clients across various industries.
- Drive project planning, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and financial oversight to ensure successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions that meet client goals around service, cost, and efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional delivery teams consisting of consultants, analysts, and subject matter experts.
- Maintain high levels of client engagement, including executive-level communication and stakeholder management.
- Develop and refine delivery methodologies, tools, and best practices for supply chain engagements.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, client pitches, and thought leadership.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Monitor emerging trends in supply chain technology, delivery models, and industry regulations to inform client strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, including 8+ years in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Proven success in delivering complex supply chain or logistics transformation projects.
- Experience with supply chain systems and tools, specifically Blue Yonder
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior client executives.
- Strong financial and analytical acumen; capable of driving cost-benefit analyses and operational KPIs.
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with digital supply chain solutions, automation, or AI in logistics.
- Knowledge of specific industry supply chain models (e.g., retail, healthcare, manufacturing).
- Certifications such as CSCP, CLTD, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma.
